Coach Lonnie Hinchen, Born in raised in South Central Los Angeles. Coach Lonnie credit basketball to becoming the man he is today. Attending Locke High school and watching so many of his classmates turn to drugs and Gangs. Lonnie focus was to become a college basketball player. Coach Lonnie attended Glendale community college, making all league team, and first team defense. Coach Lonnie transfer to Cal State Long Beach. Lonnie never was able to reach his full potential because of a severe hyper extension in his right knee. Lonnie passion for the game led him to coaching little kids at Roger park in Inglewood CA. Coach Lonnie's first prospect was Jamie Jones. Lonnie begin to teach Jamie Jones the game of basketball at the age of 6, Jamie ended up making all State, Earn a scholarship to University of Portland then later play in Germany for several years. Lonnie then took a assistant coach position with DeAnthony Langston at Verbum Dei High school. Coach Lonnie and Coach DeAnthony played a significant role in the development of NBA star player Amir Johnson. Lonnie then moved to the inland empire and in 2003 and started his own youth program. Coach Lonnie youth Organization. Lonnie established the first Free youth basketball league in the city of Corona CA. Lonnie youth organization ran for over 10 years through out the city of Corona, Upland, Chino and Ontario CA. Over 500 youth played in his program. Lonnie then established his QJZ Elite team. QJZ Elite lost one game in two years. Lonnie was the first and only coach to ever coach Lonzo Ball besides his father Lavar Ball. Lonnie recall taking Lonzo to the adidas 64 when he was in the 8th grade playing in the 17u division.  Lonnie has great ties to the famous Ball Family where he watch the Ball boys craft their skills through his program. Lonnie greatest feeling is watching young men achieve their dream and passion. Lonnie recalls players like Jordan McLaughlin, Khalil Ahmad, Liangelo Ball, Lamelo Ball, Lonzo Ball, John Edgar Jr, Eli Scott, and my Favorite Lonnie Hinchen Jr, become great young men. I believe the CLYO played apart in these young men life. Lonnie who is a devoted Christian and Faithful Member of West Angeles Church of God In Christ and part of the Men's Brother Hood Ministry.  Lonnie's says his next journey is to continue to build his own ministry, CamelKnees. Camel knees is what happens when men Pray.  Lonnie is married and the father of two, Lonnie and Leslie Hinchen. Lonnie is a tractor salesman for John Deere and says that there's not a day that he don't think The Lord Jesus for allowing him to get up live another Day.
